My 10 week old Hav ate a cicada last week. He would have eaten a few more but we got them away from him. Guess he's not afraid of bugs. For what it's worth, the squirrel population in my town is quite chubby right about now - the dogs aren't the only ones feasting on the darn cicadas.

Pepper plays with bugs. He especially likes the June bugs that are out right now. The other night a small black bug (don't know what they are but they make a snap sound and flip over if you touch them) ran across the tile. Pepper had a hoot playing with that thing before I could grab a tissue and get rid of it.

I don't really mind if he plays with those types of bugs, but spiders are absolutely off limits. We have black widows out here so we have to be extra careful that the dogs don't get bitten.
