Christmas presents

I'm interested in hearing what everyone's giving their dogs for Christmas. I'm making a chew toy and knitting a sweater for Fluffy.

He has a chew toy, a new collar and a flossie for the stocking which he found and was carrying around the room still in the plastic wrapper before I got a chance to wrap it! Sneak.

Tori's getting the used wrapping paper, it's one of her favorite things about Christmas. She gets to shred to her heart's content!

Besides the wrapping paper, she'll be getting some flossies and a new raincoat (if I can find one that fits right. The one I already bought fits in length but, is way too big around. It's being returned today )

We are actually taking the pups on a trip to the beach for Christmas and not doing toys this year, they have gotten enough lately from agility trials- DH wants to see his little girl run in the sand (this time it is crazy dog husband!!!)

But from friends and family- they have gotten white chocolate dipped bones that they ate the chocolate off and left the hard biscuit ofcourse and a doggie cookbook that looks more like food for me, and a shamwow (from an agility friend who saw what Neezers look like in the rain!)

Thinking of adding a Neezer, check out this thread!

I order Smarty and Galen six of the Skineeez from Pet Mountain. They got to open 2 at our family party Saturday and seem to really like them. Smarty always goes back to her AKC Fox.

Leslie, I think you told us about Pet Mountain, which I love their prices. They have some nice looking rain coats. I bought my DD's little Matilda a suede coat that is wonderful quality for the price.

Can't speak to the other stuff, but I don't know what I'd do without my Shamwows! Not only are they helpful after trips out in the rain, but I use them to get the majority of water out of Kodi's coat before wrapping him in towels after his bath. Otherwise I'd have a very wet lap after our "after bath cuddle".

My girls and my father-in-law's Yorkie's are each getting an Antlerz chew, a Merrick sausage treat, and a toy. I also have a box of treats that they will share.

McKenna is like Tori, she wants paper. I'm considering giving her a roll of toilet paper to run the house with........she'd be so delighted.

Amanda & Karen~ Regular Shamwows or knockoffs? I use microfiber towels on Tori to get a lot of the water off her after bath, before towel snuggling. Do the Shamwows work better? It's amazing how much water those coats can hold, isn't it?

I forgot to mention that my mother (age 85) told me she's giving Tori and Rascal (DS & DDIL's Peke) new blankets.

Our mini Schnauzer, Kramer, has his Christmas stocking filled each year and he KNOWS that it's for him. We can't even hang it up early because he tries to yank it down!

Kramer is getting some new toys, homemade doggie cookies, a new red collar and matching leash and a faux mink throw blanket.

New Havanese Puppy (still to be chosen from litter) is being presented at Christmas! Our daughter doesn't know about the puppy yet, so we have wrapped up two little food/water dishes, a tiny red collar and leash that matches Kramer's, a tiny dog toy and a Havanese book. Also bought a coordinating faux mink throw for new puppy and a tiny little red coat -- he/she will come home to us in February.

I wanted to make another stocking for new puppy to match Kramer's stocking but will have to wait until we have picked out and named our new baby first...
