What a clown. Maybe Sophie was checking to see if that dark opening went somewhere that she could explore? She's becoming our daily entertainment.

That's cute! After seeing the Sophie video you did of her going into a box for that commercial you tried out for, I've been teaching Willow to do it too! I use a waste basket and she'll go in, turn around and lay down. She's so cute! I can't get her to crawl back further inside like Sophie did though.

That is great Jackie! Would love to see a video of that. What a good girl Willow!

I taught Sophie the back up part separate from the box then added it in later.

Sophie dives into every box she can get to so I was trying to take this skinny one out to recycling and she was forcing her way into it as I was carrying it lol.

I don't have anything that takes videos or I'd post one. That's a good idea to teach "back" first. Never thought of that.

We are now working on a new trick. I have a big box from Costco that I was using to teach her to get on top of and also to get inside of when it's flipped the other way. Anyway in the rim of the box is about a 4 x 6 inch U shaped cutout so when it's upside down it has this little mouse hole type of opening. Well, I was practicing with the getting on top of the box trick and she tried to crawl through this little opening! It's big enough for her to get through but she has to crawl. So now that's our new trick we are working on! She actually did crawl all the way inside once! I've been using the clicker and shaping technique. I find shaping to be a lot of fun and I think she likes it too.

I think you should put a little video camera on your Christmas list. Would so love to see videos of your little girl.

I'll have to try and get a couple of pictures of her doing this. One of her crawling in and one of her peeking out.

I should look at video cameras. Someday maybe! I'm not much of a techie.
