You know, it wouldn't be nearly as fascinating to see her pictures if she had a short hair cut!

I guess a clue would be to find the tail but not sure where that is either.

Even that white face isn't helpful on telling which end is which when it's turned away from the camera.

She's getting a fairly short haircut in the next week unless I chicken out again! I want to have and keep it long but vet wants to see if trimming her coat and treating her with witch hazel and vinegar will help her darn itchies. She especially wants her head including beard down to about 1/2 inch but I am pretty sure there is not enough wine in the US to get me to the point where I could let that beard get cut.

Well, it would be well worth it if it helped reduce the itchies!

You mean all the wine in the US? I agree!

Hey Dee Dee, can you elaborate on the vinegar and witch hazel remedy? Maisy suffers from chronic itches too!

PS: that photo is baffling!

I am going to bargain with everything I have to at least keep the beard! We don't even know if this trim and treatment will help her at all but nothing else we've tried has worked yet, if it were likely to work I'd have no problem trimming her. Praying it will help her! Also ordered her a slobber stopper bowl in hopes it will help keep her beard drier.

Mekdean so sorry to hear your Maisy is itchy too! We are going to our holistic vet for the treatment so I don't know how she mixes etc yet. She grows her own herbs etc and makes her own tinctures, etc. But I googled it and see other people have used it also I'll be happy to share when I find out after our app't later this month but in the meantime you could also google it and I'll bet you will find some info!
