Missed your dog's rabies vac. ?

some good news for certain states. Goes to show these vacs are good for longer than three years. and why we should be able to use titer testing in order to avoid these unnecessary vacs. New Guidelines for Pets That Are Overdue for Rabies Boosters

YES!!! It's so good all these things are being figured out now. I think we've done a lot of potential harm to our dogs with over vaccinating. Sophie has had her puppy shots and that will be it, will titer now and vaccinate only if needed. Frustrating not everyone gets on board, most kennels will still not take dogs that have not had yearly vax even if titers are good and I can't compete with Sophie in Canada with just a titer result for rabies (when it's time again) as we wouldn't get over the border. Hopefully that will change.
