Help for Fort McMurray Alberta

This is terrible and getting worse. Hundred thousand people evacuated and thousands of homes destroyed. If you can help it would be much appreciated . https://donate.redcross.ca/ea-action...paign.id=50610

Made our donation today. Good news that it will be doubled because the federal government says it will match individual donations made to the Canadian Red Cross to help those affected by the raging wildfire in Fort McMurray, Alta.

Dave thanks for posting that. This is just a horrible situation for the people of Ft. Mac. We live in the southern part of the province, so as you can imagine it is all we are thinking about here. The conditions here have been unprecedented, record high temps and very strong winds and we have not had moisture at all. It is the perfect storm for this to happen. The people of Fort McMurray are so stoic. Interviews have shown these people to be so strong and all of them just keep saying they are just so glad their families are all safe. There is no end in sight and it is now encroaching on another town which housed some of the evacuees. Again thank you so much for showing your kindness for these people.
