WHITE HAVS/COCONUT IS NOT PHOTOGENIC!!

Coconut is so cute and I love him so much, but he never comes out good in photos. I've seen other white havs pics on the forum that are adorable; what is the deal? Do I have the wrong camera or does he have the wrong hair cut? It's kind of short, but he just looks a fluff of white and you can't see his personality at all in my pictures! Nobody gets to see what I see..

Hmmmm maybe it IS the wrong camera? I have a whiter looking dog and a black dog--white is easy to photograph. Black dogs are extremely difficult to capture! Do a search on the forum if your up for getting a new camera. Many of us bought new cameras after getting our dogs so we could capture all teh cuteness! I have a Nikon D40. JUST KEEP TRYING cuz we really want to see the cuteness too!

If you have a good camera it's easier to see the nuances even of a white or a black hav. Many people on the forum have either a Nikon or a Canon SLR. Let's see your Coconut.

People with "black" havs say it is hard. People with "white" havs say it is hard.
I think it is the lightening and the cameras that make the difference
Also the flash or lack of flash makes a difference.
Thank heavens for digital cameras--Have fun and just keep snapping away and see the photos
PS-I have one of each

Well, here is one that was taken a long time ago that was kinda cute, but most of them do not come out cute at all. I'll have to down load more later so you can see them...[ATTACH]27626

First welcome to the forum! Do you think it is the camera or the dog? I have a maltese that HATES the camera. I just delete 30 pics of her and keep one is the rule of thumb. On the otherhand, I have a cream hav that can't take a bad picture. So maybe just add another one

I think it is hardest when you have one of each in the same photo!
