Our Leo is also addicted to caffeine. We cannot leave our coffee (maybe he caught it from us!!!) for a moment or he is muzzle deep in the mug!

Molly hasn't lapped up any of my coffee yet but I did catch her head deep in my unattended cereal bowl enjoying the almond milk that was in there!

How cute, little scamp!

(But, watch out for the chocolate in your mocha. In case you don't know, chocolate is toxic to dogs...)

Any kind of caffeine is bad for me, so no coffee, chocolate, colas for me. I make a smoothie every morning for breakfast with a little bit of oatmeal, flax seed, blueberries, banana, and almond milk. I love almond milk, but Ricky goes nuts over it. I could throw a few Kleenex's, toilet paper for texture, and some almond milk in a blender and Ricky would think he had died and gone to heaven! Every thing is pre-shredded!

So is caffeine. Just as bad as chocolate... just not as concentrated as the theobromine in chocolate... especially dark chocolate.

I wondered about caffeine, but didn't take the time to look it up. Thanks.

yep Chocolate is made from the roasted seeds of the Theobroma cacao or cocoa tree. The seeds have certain properties that can be toxic for dogs and cats, including caffeine and theobromine.
