Hi All. I was recommened to the board by a member from a scrapbooking board I belong too. I finally was cleared last week but haven't had time to post until today. BUT, I have been doing a lot of reading
So we brought home our first Hav on December 23rd. She's a little girl, black and white, as of the 18th is 3 months old 3.6 lbs. Oh my GOSH are we in LUV with this little girl.
We are diligently working on the potty training (ugh!) but my question is what is a Hav's typical reaction to water? Our little girl Bella doesn't seem to care much for baths. I'm just curious.
Welcome to the forum! Please post some shots of Bella when you have a chance.
Pixie will stand for a bath just fine, and she'll even go in the pool for a few minutes, but wants out shortly after. She's not in love with water, but will tolerate it for us.
None of mine "enjoy" a bath, but like Sheri, they tolerate it. Puppies will squirm and do whatever they can to get away, so hold on firmly, a wet, soapy puppy is very slippery! <grin> As she has had a few bathes, she will learn you are the boss and she must tolerate it and look forward to her treat afterward!
Welcome !!! Bella is a sweetie. Mine tolerate their baths only because they have no other choice but they are definitley not enjoying them. They always enjoy the treat and RLH's following. Can't wait to see more pics.
Welcome to the forum - Bella looks just precious! Abby's not wild about baths, either, but puts up with it - I just talk to her the whole time telling her how good she is and then hope she lives up to it......lol
