Interesting post on Craigslist

I came across this post on Craigslist and thought about responding to it.

My first questions to the person would be how old is the dog? when did you rescue and from where?

Any other things I should be wary
of?

I wonder what 'training' the dog needs.. if it's 'sit, stay, lay down' I can do that in a week or two.. not sure about housebreaking or crate training.. etc

...oh..and if you need a decorator or stager do go to her come to me!! lol.. I just started my business doing that last year.. and I have a degree in interior design and my accreditation in home staging..

And too bad you don't live closer to New York. I do that here.

Mindy and Elizabeth, we MUST get together.

It sounds interesting, Mindy. I'm anxious to hear what she has to say. Good money! I would do it! Tell her about the forum!

I know I would never post an add on Craigslist looking for someone to train or board my babies. Really? A complete stranger! I would be asking friends, family, the vets for a recommendation. With a $500 budget it seems to me she could hire an experienced person who does this for a living, so I guess my question is why is she advertising on Craigslist? Maybe it is just me but something seems not right. Please let us know what happens. I hope I am wrong.

...craigslist can be really good for somethings and really bad for other things.

posting dogs for sale on craigslist... bad
..looking for a date on friday night.... bad

....buutt..

Looking for a job ...good. A lot of local companies post on there
Looking for furniture. Excellent
..looking for herpes.. the BEST

...you just really need to know what you're shopping for.. and hey..she sounds like she's looking for something a bit more personal than a kennel or something and probably doesn't know where to turn.. it's not like petsmart offers in home babysitting with their trainers..
