Nino can talk!?

Nino was giving lots of little warning barks yesterday because of the construction noises by our house. I decided to take advantage of it, and 20 minutes later, we have a new trick

Oh he has the CUTEST little bark! Love him! Good boy Nino. Sophie is going on 16 months old (yikes! Too fast!) and other than in play, she has not barked "at" anyone or anything.

Very cute! That's a pretty loud "rufff" for such a little one. 😊

He seems to think he has to compete with Mario to have the loudest voice hehe. The good thing is that he already understands that he doesn't have to bark at everything that moves.

It's been very distinct since the day we picked him up. I love the little touch of hoarseness. Mario wasted no time in teaching him how and when to bark And I definitely feel you on the "top fast" bit; Mario turns 9 In less than 2 months, and it seems like yesterday I was fawning over the 4 week photos of Nino. Slow it down!

You guys will get a kick out of the novelty trick we started working tonight. Shaping is definitely what works best with this guy. He progresses SO quickly.
