Effy's first bath

I just thought I'd share a couple of before/after photos with you of Effy's first bath, taken this afternoon. Look at those eyes - only nine weeks old and she's already perfected the "poor me" routine

OH. MY. WORD.

She is beyond adorable! How can you resist that pleading look????? I'm thinking you may need to change her name to 'she who must be obeyed'....

ha ha Needless to say, She Who Must Be Obeyed is glad it's over! She's been sleeping on the couch next to me for the past hour or so. As for the blow dryer, this whole "grooming" thing is new to me and I must admit I just used my own. (It's a professional one with a low "cool" setting that I was able to use from a distance.) This whole bath thing came about because she had some rather soft poop stuck to her bum. I imagine that means I need to trim some of the hair around it but am not sure how to go about doing it and certainly don't want to make any mistakes! Any suggestions or should I just do it and get it over with already? Effy thanks you in advance for all your help

She's a doll, her coloring reminds me of a golden retriever

I usually just hack away the hair when its stuck to a dingle berry but if you trim the hair away from the anus that should work. I'm no cutting expert tho.

Oh what I wouldn't give for a Costco here in France!! I miss those

I should be able to find unscented baby wipes here in the grocery store, though. I'll try those first and if it doesn't work I'll get out the scissors and trim away. Thanks for the advice!
