Crying when playing with squeaky toy

Teddy has a yellow plush duck that squeaks when he bites on it.
He loves this toy and will take it everywhere with him.
For several months now, I've noticed that when he's sitting and playing alone (mostly when I'm watching TV or having dinner), he bites on his toy, makes it squeak and cries along with the squeaky toy.

Can't figure out whats going on. He got a check up from the vet and he has no issues that the vet picked up.

He cries for a min or 2 then goes to sleep.

Any one know what this could be and what I could do about it?

Sophie does the same thing. A friend of mine's little girl (May) will squeak her toy then raise her head to the sky and let out the longest, most mournful howl you ever heard. She does this repeatedly makes me laugh until my stomach hurts. They must be having a conversation with their fellow pack member lol

Thanks Dee Dee
Does that mean it's nothing to worry about?
Maybe it's just their way of playing?

Ollie does the same thing with a bone squeaky. Not any other squeakies. Now it's a game for us, we squeak the bone he does a full blown coyote howl and we howl back and then we all howl and this goes on for ages. Now Hershey is trying to get in on it, but he hasn't caught on to the fact that it is a howl, not a high pitched yelp. He is a work in progress.

Thats hilarious!
Was freaking out here thinking it may be a sign of depression or something!
He has 2 identical squeeky toys. One duck, one elephant. He only cries when it's the duck!

There's a new legislation preventing dogs from barking but if Not, I'm pretty sure Teddy would love to have a duet like you and your lil ones! Lol

Teddy is about 2 years old now but still acts like a 6month old puppy!

Like the other posts above, Teddy likes socks and will run off with a sock then lie on his back and kick in the air as he shakes his head with sock in mouth and growl! Total clown!!
The crying was worrying but glad to know it's normal play!

Thanks everyone for the helpful responses!!
