Should Your Hav Ever Go Missing

Heaven forbid this should ever happen! But, even w/the best of care and precautions we know it can and does (right, Geri? ).

Someone from another list I belong to posted a link to a page of excellent suggestions from the Sheltie rescue folks. It is great info to have and read before your little one disappears.

How to Find a Lost Sheltie

I shutter just thinking about this. Thanks for posting. In addition to being microchipped, "REWARD" is engraved on their tags
This might stop someone from wanting to keep or sell them!

I will also keep a file for my gang. Somebody needs to tell HavaneseRescue that their site is not navigation friendly when trying to get information to them about a missing dog. I tried it twice and left in utter frustration to look for help elsewhere.

This is also an excellent resource. Read before you need. There is also a form for you to fill out now while you can think clearly, before your lose your pet.

Your best result will be as much face to face info on the street as you can get out there. Also don't forget findtoto.
