Leafy Butt

I took Lola to the city park for the first time this morning. The park has many trees and a wooded area with trails winding through it.

While we were walking along Lola suddenly started jumping around and spinning, obviously beside herself. She didn't want to settle and let me help her. She continued wiggling when I picked her up and I had no idea what was wrong. Then I saw part of a leaf under her tail. A bit of a struggle later I had Lola cleaned up.

I now know what those of you who've written about leaves and twigs in a Hav's coat mean. Miss Priss Lola was beside herself with the leaf "attack". We stayed on the clear walkways for the rest of the walk.

That's funny! Willow will get a stick or something caught in her tail and will immediately stop and try to pull it off.

Kodi HATES any plant material caught in his "feathers"!!! Pixel doesn't care... she is so often covered with plant material that we call her the Chia Pet. . So far, Panda's hair doesn't collect much, so the jury is still out on her!

Emmie collects stuff in her fur on almost every walk and doesn't seem to care. When I see her walking funny I do a check and pull the debris out of her fur and then she keeps going. My little fluff ball cracks me up.

OMG! I was walking behind Chi Chi this weekend and was appalled at all the sticks and stuff I saw stuck to her butt! Couldn't believe she was walking around like that. Hurried home and put her in the sink! I was totally embarrassed. Didn't realize it was a thing LOL!

Rexy is always bringing in leaves, twigs, etc. in his coat. I thought Leo's was bad but Rexy's is worse. He hates having leaves or twigs stuck in his coat snd has learned to run to me to get them out!
