Feeding twice a day

For those of you who feed your dogs twice a day, do you feed at specific times during the day or x amount of hours apart? Do you feed the same mount both meals?

Mine eat twice a day. APPROXIMATELY 7 AM and 6 PM, though this can be quite variable.

They eat kibble in the morning and canned in the evening. I'd rather they NOT eat kibble at all, but Dave feeds them about half the time in the morning, and doesn't want to be bothered with anything more complicated. They eat a limited ingredient food that comes in both canned and kibble (Nature's Variety) because of Kodi's allergies. The girls don't need it, but it's easier to feed everyone the same thing!

Do you feed at the same time everyday? How many hours apart between meals?

We get Ricky up about 6/6:30am. We go for a walk about 7/7:30am for around 45 minutes. I feed Ricky about 8:30/9am. He gets his second meal of the day at 5pm.

morning meal: 1/2 cup Honest Kitchen
evening meal: 1/4 cup Honest Kitchen
during the day he gets around 1/4 cup of training treats - steamed vegetables, dehydrated banana, seedless watermelon, blueberries, healthy commercial treats. We keep some Pioneer Naturals kibble as a backup when needed. Ricky loves all of it.

We have stabilized Ricky's weight at 15/15.5 pounds. Ricky's vet says he is perfect weight for his frame (which is on the larger side).

I feed Django around 6:30 a.m. after his morning walk. He's always so hungry by 1:00 that I usually feed him around 1:30-2:00. Then, he's set for the day. Gets a handful of treats through out the day so there is always something in his belly. I have tried to stretch the time out between feedings but am not successful. He's 12 1/2 and weighs 10.4 pounds.

Zoe eats around Noonish and again at around 7 to 8 PM (summer schedule). She eats about 1/2 cup each feeding. She is 7 lbs and full of energy, especially since she got her summer cut. She acts like a puppy and the holistic vet classified her weight as ideal. She eats fresh home cooked (muscle and organ meat) with raw vegetables and prescribed supplements, along with her med. It's complicated so It takes some doing so I am not ready to have her first meal until later. My horses are on a 7:30 to 8:00 PM schedule so Zoe has to wait but she isn't much of a breakfast eater anyway. Karen, I have 2 cases of the canned Nature's Variety sitting here looking for someone to give them to. She doesn't get treats.

Leo and Rex (Porter and Becca) eat breakfast about 6:00 am and 5:00-6:30 pm depending on when I get home from work. On non-work days they start agitating for dinner about 4:30 and eat at 5:00pm.
Leo eats 4 oz Darwin's raw each meal and Rex eats about 4.3-4.5 oz at eat meal. They are doing well on Darwin's except for Rexy's ear. They are still a little itchy. I am eliminating chicken and beef in the next order and trying only turkey and duck to see if his ears improve.

As I said, it's ABOUT 11 hours apart, but that can vary depending on what's going on. When Kodi was younger, he'd get cranky if we were at a trial that continued through his supper time, so I'd actually bring his supper along and feed him there. Now he's more accepting oaf a variable schedule. We just got home from run-thought at 8:30 tonight, so that's when he and Panda ate, since they were with me. Pixel was home with Dave, so he fed her at 6, I'm sure.
