Tear stains

Dog tear staining is a common problem in white or light colored dogs. My white havanese has tear stains and itís looking very ugly. Does anyone know how to remove these without harm my puppy?
Any recommendation that easily available at Petco will be greatly appreciated.

I've just started using Angel Eyes, been almost a month and I'm seeing improvement. It's expensive though, we've gone through the big bottle in a month because of three dogs. At a local show I bought a bottle of Tylan powder that has no flavor and I'm switching to that as soon as the Angel Eyes is gone. Ex: they get 3/4 teaspoon of AE, with the pure Tylan they get 1/8 teaspoon so it should last much longer and it was less expensive.

It's worth a try. You can also do a search for tear staining on the forum and get some other ideas.

Hello,
On the website, www.havanese.org, they have an article on page 2 of "Horizons" publication.

Also, you can search "tear stains" on this forum for all threads related. Hope that helps!
