Soft crates you'd recommend?

I am looking into a soft crate for Charlie. While he's little, he's using our cat's old crate , but we will soon need to get something larger. I like the idea of a soft crate that is lightweight and easily portable for use in hotels, at my parents' house, etc. I've been looking at the Noz2Noz Sof-Krates. Anybody have experience with them? What size did you get? Charlie is only 12 weeks old but is over 5.5 lbs currently, so I'm thinking he could easily be a 15 pounder.

A lot of people with big dogs get Noz2Noz, and like them. I find any of that type of crate, with the spring tension metal bars are very difficult to put up an break down when they re the smaller sizes. I've gotten my fingers pinched by them too many times, and won't use them any more. These are the ones I use. In this type, the whole ends zip open and closed. They also have side and back curtains that can be rolled up with velcro or left down if the dog wants more privacy.

They come in this color and also navy/white polka dots with green trim. Thats the color I have. I have 3 of them for my guys and love them.:

I have a Noz2Noz, 26", that stays next to our bed. Its light weight is fine for moving it up on the bed to get it out of the way when vacuuming. It is a good looking crate with a sturdy fabric cover. I like how it collapses, clips together and has a carry strap to transport and/or store it. It zips open on the top, long and short sides giving you three different entry and exits for your dog.

Overall I do like the crate. And yep, you have to watch your fingers when snapping the top bars.

Yes, Wouldn't mind them if I were mostly keeping it set up. But mine are usually folded in the car, then are opened up at training centers or trials, and then broken down again. So it's important to me that they are easy to break down and set up quickly and without hurting myself.

At home, we use Vari Kennels, and they have big wire crates in the RV.

Karen - These look great. I think I will send one to my mother's house to use when we are there. What size do you have for your three? Is the xtra small big enough? It would work for Loki now but I don't want to get another one. I think he will end up being 9 lbs or so. Thanks.

I am thinking about ordering the next size up (the 26"). I think my pup will be bigger than 9 lbs though. My mom has the 26" one for her 11 lb shih tzu mix.

Oops - that's for the Noz2Noz, not the other brand, but I think I'd go with the Small/24"L in this version.

The xs is plenty big enough for Pixel (9 1/2 lbs) and would be "OK" for Panda (11 1/2 lbs). It's smaller than I like for Kodi to sleep in over night, because I like him to be able to stretch out. But he likes to get in the little one. His regular one is the next size up. Panda's is the same size as Kodi's, because I bought it when she was little, and didn't know how big she'd get. She'd be fine in either one.
