Sabine , Molly's nutritionist recommended probiotics, Omega 3 fish oil with vitamin E added, and B complex vitamins. Biggest health improvement comes from switching to canned from kibble though.

Evo before . I switched a year ago. She's on canned all the time along with 10 to 15 percent human food.

I use Animal Essentials plant enzymes & probiotics. As well Sea Pet Omega 3 fish oil with vitamin E. They are all on wet food topped with a teaspoon of homemade (boiled chicken, green beans and carrots). I started the Animal Essentials (double dose) while transitioning to wet and we had no issues with diarrhea. They are now on the recommended 1/4 tsp daily and all is going well.

Yeah Sharlene ,you consulted with Sabine right. ? I think you meant to say Seapet Omega 3 with vitamine E added. Yeah, I think Molly loves her sups. I should be taking them better myself. I take vit D all winter with not much sunlight to help out.

YIKES. Thanks for the catch Dave. I edited my post to read E, not D. I must have vitamin D on the brain. I too am vitamin D deficient and take a D supplement.

yeah Vitamin D is something everyone almost should be taking especially in the winter. All the news coming out about it is good. And you don't get enough in a multi vitamin. I've been looking at Q10 ,that' s another good one. -- healthy heart .

One supplement that my groomer recommended for skin and coat is Dogzymes Ultimate. www.naturesfarmacy.com. They have a toll-free number 1-800-733-4981 or [email protected]. I have not tried it so I can't attest to it but it might be worth your while to call or email and ask questions. She also has a dog with Cushing's disease.
