California Natural Food

I see that 2 people on the food poll are using California Natural. I got a sample pack and Ollie and Ausin LOVED it - can you please let me know your experience with it and how long you have been using it?

THX!!

We've used it for years with our two goldens and have been using it with MacGyver since he came home. He loves it (as did our goldens, but I don't think they were very discriminating). Our vet sells it and likes it because it isn't loaded with different ingredients. It made a huge difference in one of the goldens, who had chronic coat problems.

Isn't that always the way! Fortunately, MacGyver is something of a chow hound.

California Natural is a very good food, it's made by the same people that make Innova and Innova Evo. It is a single protein source, vs. Innova and Evo, which have multiple proteins (chicken, turkey, beef, etc), so it makes it a really good food if dogs have allergies.

HTH,

Hi Ollies Mom, My boys really loved the California Naturals puppy lamb formula. it was the only Kibble they would eat with no doctoring. Alas, that and the Innova (not the evo) gave them really loose stools even after 3 wks. I was unable to do the slow mix though because they picked out the Cal Nat and left their old food--- so maybe you will have better luck. I really love the idea of it because it is so simple in it's ingredients.
