Potty Patch

OK, I just got an email add for the Potty Patch. I have never really looked into this, because the idea of having liquid urine sitting there in a tray in my kitchen for a week (whether it smells or not!!!) was a TOTAL turn-off to me. So was the idea of emptying it, and having it splash everywhere as you try to get it into the toilet. I also hate fake grass, because I have yet to find anything that doesn't start to stink very quickly. (hey, maybe I have a sensitive nose, but it is what it is! )

HOWEVER, when I saw the photos in the ad, it made me wonder whether you could put pellets under the tray that goes under the "grass" mat, do away with the mat, and use it like a Rascal Dog. Does anyone have one of these? Could it be used this way? It might be a good option for people who didn't get Rascal Dogs before they stopped being sold in this country.
