Havanese on NTTimes frontpage

We all know how smart our Havanese are, but now there is "proof"! Front page of NTtimes today has a picture of a beautiful 11 year old Havanese who participates in a Yale University Caninie Cognition Center program.

Not sure if I can add a link, but google Havanese and NYTimes and the story and his pictures will come up..one on front page and one on inside.

One funny part of the story notes that really smart dogs aren't always the easiest to live with..more like a know it all teenager than an adorable toddler...they get bored, restless and get into trouble.

It's an interesting article. Thank you for the link. I've just started reading a book that starts out discussing dog intelligence. Dave (Davetgabby) recommended it. I've just barely started reading it but it's eye opening in the discussion of dog intelligence and perception and why dogs react they way they do to rewards, scolding or praise. If anyone is interested it's called "Culture Clash: A New Way of Understanding the Relationship Between Humans and Domestic Dogs". You can get a used copy on Amazon for $0.01 plus a small shipping charge.
