Radar tried to take advantage

Hi All. Well we have a little Cassanova on our hands. Radar tried to mount Cookie, My In-Laws little two year old Sh%#zu-Toy Poodle Mix this afternoon when we were in Brantford. She's like 15lbs and big and she would have none of that as she gave a little Screw-You little growl at him and promptly jumped up on the chair si he couldn't follwo her and looked down on him with glee. It was hillarious. Radar got along with her very well. He chased her all around the place and then he got frisky and she shot him down. Man it was good fun....Little bugger....

Kodi is always mounting Shelby. He is such a bully (or thinks he he is). His new thing is when she rolls on her back when they are playing, he pins her down.

Sorry about the whole Shi Tzu thing. I really did know how to spell it but I was trying to be comical with it. I don't mind that I got corrected....No Big Deal........

Cheers

Both my boys do this, Riley will try and hump Monte then Monte will try and hump Riley. It's like I'm alpha, no I'm alpha but in the end Riley really is the Alpha. Michele Riley does the same thing to Monte he will pin him down to win and let Monte know he really is the alpha dog in our family.

When Tripp bugs Dreamer to death to try & get her to play with him, she will be like 'ok, i will play with you!'. THen she procedes to hump him until he just cant take it any more! I think she is hoping he will leave her alone. But it doesnt work!

Capote tries to do it to the cat or to other dogs, but he promptly gets a stern warning to stop. He doesn't do it very often cause he knows he's not supposed to, but he forgets now and then so I have to remind him. This is an alpha issue that you can train him not to do but you can't let it go here and there because you think it's funny. Then they'll think it's ok, like a lil kid. I think that is the one thing that Capote does here and that I'll run after him with a broom for..lol.

Capotes mom you are correct you should not let it get out of control. When Riley first came home he always tried to hump my arm and was scolded for it. He did finally stop after a while. But now with Monte in the house Riley will grad him like he is going to hump him but not really go crazy with it. I do watch and make sure it does not get out of hand but I think Riley just wants to let Monte know every now and then that he is alpha. I really donít need to correct Monte, Riley takes care of that and pins him down every time Monte tries to hump him.
