How come we have to wait out here?

We were taking soaped pictures of puppies, and the adult dogs were too much of a distraction to the puppies. The adults had to be shut out of the puppy room, and they were disapointed in being left out.

I was sitting right there with the camera taking the puppy pictures. I think there were at least 5 others behind the ones with their noses through the gate. That's Birdi, Fyre, and Zahzi, the three youngest of the adults from left to right.

Oh, you great big meanies locking those POOR puppies out!

OTOH, I bet if you'd offered them all baths, they might have decided that their side of the gate wasn't so bad!

We have baby gates all over the house to control the flow of big dogs, little dogs and adorable granddaughter. Any time i or DH are on the opposite side of the gates from Leo or Rex we get that oh so sad nose through the gate pose!

Oh you are so cruel dad, haha. Mine give me that through the stair railing if I am downstairs we have the stairs blocked off with a solid gate so they have to stick their noses through the railings on the landing.

Aww - so sad but cute. I love the coloring on the middle dog. Really stunning.
