I can't believe what I do for Loki!

He doesn't like to bathe in the sink (he is always trying to crawl into my arms) so I thought I would try the tub this morning. Not much better -he was running from one end to the other splashing water everywhere. In desperation, I took off my clothes and got in with him. MAGIC - he had the best bath ever. Stood still, let me soap, rinse, condition and rinse without a whimper. I have now created a monster. I guess I will have to always get in the tub with him -or at least until we are both too old. LOL!

Then I gave him to Marc to dry while I took a proper shower!!!!

My husband has always bathed our cockapoo in the shower. He bathes her, yells for me to take her and dry her off, then finishes showering himself. I didn't want to do that with the havs, although if I can't bathe Raffy for whatever reason, that's what he will do.

We used to bathe our (human) boys that way when they were little!

That's funny. I thought I would see pictures when I saw the title of your post. But I guess not!

One dog behavior study showed how dogs learn by observation. Tux's fear of the hairdryer ended the minute he saw me turn it on my face while simultaneously smiling and saying how good it felt. Bath water temperature has a great deal to do with the dog's first experience. Perhaps the temperature you made the bath for yourself was good for Loki. Now all you need to do is climb into the sink to show him how much fun it is. LOL
