Yikes $700 is a crazy number for no information! Most health tested Havanese are not going to cost so little and if it is a Havanese that are just cranked out for profit, then $700 is way too much.

Beware! Short-hair or not, huge red flags here.

I'm thinking if someone was interested they'd have to contact the owner to find out and see it in person. Yeah, I was thinking $700 was a lot of money for it.

I know you mean well, so please don't take offense, but a lot of people are looking for certain colored Havs too and if people were just linking arbitrarily to puppy mill sites because they have that specific color, all you are doing is advertising for them. I just think it is crazy to link to dogs online without knowing anything about them (or where they originate).

Oh, hmmm sorry anyone that I offended. I just know its hard to find short haired Havs so that's the only reason why I passed on the link. Maybe its because I live near Seattle that I didn't think it was a big deal. I would never buy from a puppy mill and I'd go to that location to check out the puppy, location, everything first. Never mind

I would hope that no one would take offense.
I've posted dogs that I've found on Craigslist and Petfinder before and so have a lot of the forum members.
She's a beautiful little girl..Todd would love her

I wasn't offended. I DO feel that's asking ALOT though for a short hair and no mention of testing or anything. With all the dogs out there unwanted and overburdening shelters, how did ordinary dogs become sooooo expensive??

I am sure that harrach had only the best of intentions by trying to inform interested people about this available puppy, however, I agree with Kimberly. Please harrach, don't feel like I am ganging up on you. That is not my intention at all, but rather I want to educate and enlighten.

So many people here have spent countless hours on this forum trying to educate people on how to find a healthy, nice puppy as well as how to find a reputable breeder. It should be hard to find a short haired Havanese as they are not something any breeder should be trying to produce. Breeding should be about improving the breed, not breeding something that it isn't suppose to be at all.

Linking to a rescue dog is different.

It was decided a long time ago that advertising puppies for sale was not allowed on this forum. This is in essence helping to sell a puppy from an unknown person without facts of breeding practices, health testing and more.

She is really cute though. Almost looks like a little piglet.
