Missy to the rescue

Many times I think we don't give our dogs credit for being as smart as they are. My daughter has a hav puppy I gave her and she put her wedding rings on the coffee table when she was cleaning.
When she went to get the rings, the engagement ring was gone. She searched everywhere for it and had no luck so she got the family to join in to help her find the ring.
Missy the hav kept tugging on my granddaughter's clothing trying to pull her. Since they were busy looking for the ring, she kept telling Missy to leave her alone and knock it off. Missy was on a mission and wouldn't be deterred though. She kept trying to pull my granddaughter to the couch while they kept looking for the ring.
Finally my son in law looked at Missy and how determined she was and told my daughter that they should all just stop and let Missy lead my granddaughter where she wanted her to go.
Missy pulled my granddaughter to the couch then she laid down at the edge of the couch. They checked and sure enough, the ring was right under the couch where Missy was laying.
I have a feeling little Missy just may have put the ring there but at least she fessed up

Thanks for sharing that great story. I keep thinking if one of my kids had moved the ring, I could look forever without them fessing up.

I'm guessing that at our house it would be a safe bet that Pepper would have swallowed it.

He puts almost everything in his mouth.

Missy is 7 months old and quite a character. Now she's decided she wants to be the alpha of the house so my daughter is telling her she isn't. They aren't seeing eye to eye at the moment, but I'll be down there in a few days and will help her out, then Miss Missy starts obedience classes where I'm sure she'll try to train the trainer. Boy is she in for a surprise

Talking

What a great story! Probably right on how it got there in the first place!!! Too funny...

So Austin's sister is a bit head strong? Hmmmmmm..... hopefully he won't follow the same path!!...But Ollie seems to be keeping him in check....it is funny - at 6 months Austin is bigger than Ollie who will be one in TWO DAYS! Yet Ollie is becoming more of the Alpha (if you can call it that) and lets his brother know who is in charge!!!
