A good summary of the Havanese breed

I found this link and I thought it was a good one for those wondering about getting a Hav. I don't know if it's been posted in here or not.

Just read the article and it seems like a very good overview. I read many similar points when researching these dogs, but this article seems to have all the information in one place.

Thanks! That was a very good summary of the Havanese and seemed to cover it all!

You hear that Havanese are members of the Bichon family, but it turns out they share no chromosomes with the Bichon Friese, although they do share a few with the Maltese. "Bichon" used to mean "lap dog" as do other words from other countries like "bolonka". Any small dog got lumped into the category and placed in "families" when actually it doesn't mean a thing.
