Canine Learning Experience
Date: Sunday, August 1, 2010
Time: All day, beginning at 9am – Late afternoon
Place: St. Johnland Nursing Center, 395 Sunken Meadow Road, Kings Park, Long Island, NY

All dogs and their humans are invited!
The Greater New York Havanese Club will have a table, tent and play area for our dogs. Hooray! You can bring your dogs!!! We will have a picnic for the humans and a play area for the dogs.
RSVP to [email protected] and let us know if you are thinking of coming!
Our “Tent” will be in a nice grassy area with trees for shade. Bring chairs to sit on, a picnic lunch for yourself, and perhaps something to share. We’ll be noshing all day!

What is a “Canine Learning Experience?”
A “Canine Learning Experience” is an educational multi-club, multi-sport event that seeks to introduce people to the sport of purebred dogs. This is a day-long event that features educational presentations & classes. You and your dog can learn about rally, agility, obedience, and how to handle your dog at a conformation match. ALL dogs, all breeds whether registered or not are welcome. Bring the whole family!

L.I. Expressway to Exit 53; Sunken Meadow Parkway North to Exit SM4.
Take Pulaski Road East (at the intersection with Rt. 25A it becomes Old
Dock Rd.) Go approximately 11⁄2 miles to Sunken Meadow Road (Traffic
light.). Turn LEFT and enter the site at the 2nd entrance on the right.
