Leave in conditioner

I've finally managed to find a way to get Amazon, Walmart or eBay products to be shipped to me!

Teddy has dry fur and could do with some sort of conditioner.

I Would like to buy him a leave -in conditioner but don't know what to get...... does any one have a recommendation (it can only be bought from Walmart, Amazon or eBay!).??

I got one I like at Ollies. "Show sheen". Spray that had him silky and pearly. It also smelled wonderful.

Argan oil works pretty well for us as an after bath hair moisturizer. I stopped washing Migo with shampoo and instead use my As I Am coconut cleaning conditioner to prevent drying him out. The shampoo from Coat Handlers that I was using before was way too harsh.

Oh my goodness! What a great idea! I use Argan oil in my own hair...I never thought to try a little on Maggie.

If he licks the Aragon oil off himself, it's not toxic is it?

I loved using coconut oil on him but he licks it off then rubs off the remainder on my pillows! ?
Made his coat really soft but seemed to leave him oily.

Much of the Argan oil on the market not pure. The most popular brand Moroccan Oil is not pure argan. It is varying amounts of pure argan oil mixed with other ingredients like silicone, less expensive oils, fatty alcohol and fragrances (pure argan has a not so pleasant smell).100% pure argan oil should be safe if they lick it. Jose Maran makes a pure argan oil product that is supposed to be edible.

We use Pure Paws Silk products on Scout and Truffles. I haven't used the Silk leave in conditioner, but it is on Amazon. The Silk Cream conditioner makes the coat very silky when it is dry.

I use Marc Anthony Argon Oil in the small pump bottle for Leo's coat. I pump 4-5 squirts in my palm, rub my hands together, work the oil into his coat and blow him dry. His coat is so soft and smells lovely. The oil is too heavy for Rexy's coat.

Sometimes I use coconut oil after, but it's so heavy that I end up using too much almost every time. It's easier to use argan oil IME and it's not toxic. I prefer coconut oil actually (it actually penetrates the hair unlike argan oil) but like you said, it can get messy quick and it is the worst to try to wash out if you use too much.

Does the argan oil leave Leo oily? Teddy is afraid of dryers so will have to be naturally dried!
Do you apply on dry or wet fur?

Also, is there a pet product for this or do you use the human product? I did a search on Amazon and can't find a pet version
