What would Jasper & Cash do?

A lesson from my yin and yang!

So Jasper is confronted with a change in the neighborhood, all of sudden things aren't as they used to be...and then there's someone new in town, he see's that this is unsettling to me...so he guruffs and hurumphs and he bares his teeth, and pulls on his leash, and people look at him and say what a silly little white dog. Obviously he is unbalanced and needs the dog whisperer.

What would Cash do in the same situation? He would waddle on over, make the new kid in town scratch his ear, stare at them with his big brown eyes and then see if there were any treats to be had... Good Boy Cash! and I would be laughing.

Oh, I think Jasper is doing a good job taking care of his Mom. I love the picture and this one seems to show how curly Jasper is. Cash is SOLID black. I don't see any white hairs in that coat.

Cash is my Stogie. Goldie is Jasper.

Goldie gets mad at me with ANY change. And she may pee on the bed to prove a point. She might pee on the bed close to my head. She might have just gone out, so its not a potty training issue. She might be a bitch.

Stogie is the young child who gets into a strangers car because he has a treat. A total mamas boy would sell his soul for a treat or an ear tickle.

I can relate.

I love that photo and if I was in the calendar making business it would be the front page!

It's funny how so many of us have those yin and yang dogs! Rascal is our suspicious "Jasper." Who are you and how dare you approach! Yes, I'll also bark at the garbage trucks and people who come to the door!

Pixie is our "Cash." Who are you and will you pet me please? I'll wag my tail for you and give you my big brown eyes. Someone at the door? What fun!

Gucci and Goldie COULD be related.. I still have issues with her peeing in the house if she's mad at me for leaving, and I know she's mad, because she will huff and walk off and sulk her whole body in the corner and avoid eye contact with me if I piss her off.

I do think she'd be doggy psych doctor diagnosable with OCD. She has sooooo many obsessive compulsive habits that they are hard to name them all. Like Cheese, she will ONLY eat cheese as a treat after her bath, at nooo other time in her life will she eat it.

She has to have her 'coffee", as we call it, a 1/2 a tsp of half and half or milk when I have my mid morning coffee, If I do not cater to this demand, she'll cry at me for 2 hours, huff and puff in the corner and go piss somewhere she is not supposed to.

But, I do love my bitchy OCD dog to pieces, how could one not with such big personalities for little dogs. lol

Missy, Jasper and Cash are just the perfect pair!!! They compliment each other in every sense yang..and I love the picture, too!

Melissa, Kara, Dale, thank you liking that photo!!!! it is my favorite of all time...I have posted it a million times and no one has ever commented before! But I have it on my desk at work, my desk at home, my phone screen saver... I love it for so many reasons...

Dale, we were on vacation, they had just come in from swimming in the ocean and crashed together on the couch (a very rare happening) Jasper is very curly when wet, or allowed to dry naturally, and it was a few years ago so Cash is more silver now, but it always helps to put a blackish dog against a whitish dog... they always look blacker and whiter that way.

But with all that has been going on, I thought what better way than to look to my yin and yang for how to deal... and you know, even crazy Jasper always ends up wagging his tail!
