Here is our new girl

We picked up our new girl today. She isn't the one we planned to get but she picked us. The other girl seemed somewhat afraid of me and kept running away. This one wouldn't leave my side after I put her down. My wife picked her almost immediately. She is a bold little thing who wants to get into everything. Tasha seems to be accepting her well for such a short time. We all had a three hour ride home together. We have never had two dogs at the same time but it might be fun and nobody gets left home alone. Her name is Molly and she's a Shih Tzu.

Congratulations on your new little girl, Molly! What a sweet little face!

Isn't it funny how that happens - we didn't end up with the puppy we had planned to get either. We (I) DEFINITELY wanted a girl. Instead, we ended up with the most wonderful little boy. I wouldn't trade him for anything. He picked us and I never had second thoughts over the decision to take him instead.

She is such a cutie. It usually works out like that. One of them just picks you. I love her coloring and adorable face. It's so much fun with two. They'll make you laugh.

Adorable. Congratulations! Einstein picked my husband too. There were a dozen other pups running around and he would not leave my husbands side until hubby got tired of being down on his knees and when he stood up, Einstein ran across the room to me. We had to pick Watson out of all the other playing pups.

Trudy, mom to Einstein,Watson and Griffin too!

We have been home for four hours and she has used pee pads three times and gone nowhere else. Seems like we got a head start on the house training. Tahsa was difficult but we didn't use pee pads until much later in the process. They are mostly for when nobody is home but with a little 2 lb puppy I'm not complaining. She is chewing on Tasha's toys and moms socks and seems to be content amusing herself. She just used a pee pad while I'm typing so that makes us four and 0.
