How do new Mom's ever go back to work?

I've been back to work for 2 weeks as a high school teacher. I dreaded that first day as it approached - I've had such a wonderful summer with my two new girls.

General is sleeping at my folks house now, so we have the girls. They are still sleeping at 5 am when I get up. They sleep though all my getting ready, so I get their food dishes ready. Then I sneak out at 6 am. I miss the "kids" so much while I am work. I just want to get home and play with them, hold them, walk them, and cuddle them. I know they are fine and Sam will take good care of them during the day, but I get in the car and come straight home!

I have a great welcoming committee as I walk through the door! I hear Sam say, "Mommy's home," and them come running for belly rubs and kisses. I want nothing more than to spend my entire evening playing with them.

I really don't know how new Mom's go back to work! Willow, Bella and General do my heart and soul a world of good.

No housework allowed this weekend...only puppy play! You earned it! Enjoy your weekend, Kristy!

It's hard to leave them in the beginning, but coming home is so rewarding.

Oh Kristy,
I feel you! I'm a SLP in the public schools (elementary currently) and I just got an anatolian puppy, rescue, 10 weeks old, Oz. dude, him and my 8 month old hav mix they are killing me! you are so lucky our pups sleep thru your wake up time, my new pup wakes me up b/c they are playing.

That and the foster mom free fed the whole litter, so he's a grazer and he wakes up every 2 hours b/c he's hungry.

I am so so wiped out. so glad the first week of school is over. hopefully next week won't be so hairy. oh man, someone (dog) seriously tooted.

Awww, I know how you feel, I hate leaving her alone and I take her to work with me because I can and I know I"m lucky but I still cant' take her everywhere, and the welcome home committee is the best!!

Maybe you can have a show and tell day, or follow mom to work day and they can come and meet the students??

I was so lucky to have my own business and only be working part-time when my two were pups. I took them to work with me everyday. Now that I'm working full time, and my days off I'm taking care of my grandson, I have such guilt. So I make sure to spend time with them when I get home from work and Sunday is their day, too.

Well i spent the weekend with my babies! We took lots of walks between the rain storms.

All three gots baths, so they were pretty pooped out afterwards. They snuggled up to me while I graded their summer assignments.

really, that's just down right charming.

I was watering my backyard around sunset today, and I hear my two pups playing tug of war, I look over to see who's winning, they are playing tug of war with my bra.

nice.

Then, I went to get it, and Ollie my half hav, wouldn't let go (he knows leave it).

bogger.
