How cracy we are for our dogs

Not that I need to convince anyone here just how crazy we can all be for our dogs. So I thought you might get a kick out of the craziness at our house.

DH recently had a "bad" tattoo covered with a picture of Rico. The new coverup had to be much bigger than we would have liked to accomodate the actual covering......here's what he now has on his upper arm .

WHAT!!??!!

WOW! That is an awesome tatoo; the tatoo artist did a great job. But, that must have hurt your husband considering the size......well, I would think it would hurt but maybe it didn't

It took the artist a few weeks to come up with the right proportions to cover the old tattoo correctly. But once the artwork was done, poor DH was stick in the chair for 2 hours!

Oh, yeah, it hurts. But you should see his little nose and tongue in the flesh. It's so cute!!

This gave me such a belly laugh!!!! I have tears. Years ago back in the early eightys my cousin started getting tatoo's all over his arms, in 99 after his 1st child started school..he started removing them. They are removed by a laser it is very costly and it does not leave your skin as it once was. Anyway I ask him what was the point. He told me it was the content, as a single male it was cool as an adult with a school age child, well. I pointed out the cost and he told me it would have been better if he could have tatooed over it, only he could'nt that of what he would put. Now I know where he missed the boat!!!! He would be one cool dad!

Poohkey miss you, monkey.

LOL....with wisdom comes age.

I didn't get my first tattoo until I was 40. When I was young, my mother always said "What will you do when you're a grandmother and you have tattoos?? People will think you're crazy!" So I waited until I was 40 and thought, the heck with it, I'm gettin' a tattoo! I now have 12 grandkids and 3 tattoos! Makes for interesting conversation at the family pool parties (the tat's are not visible in street clothes).

Here's my latest. This design came from a pin I bought from someone on the forum (sorry can't remember her name). A small "tribute" to the kids

I don't think Julie ever envisioned her pins as tatoos! LOL
They are very attractive, I must say!

Those are SOOO cool, I don't have a tattoo, but if I ever did, it would be a hav

If Julie doesn't know her pin is now skin, she will surely be flattered! That tattoo is awesome..
