Nova Scotia with our Herd of Havanese

When talking with Willow's mom, I realized that I hadn't posted photos from our last camping trip this year. Enjoy!

These are mostly from Peggy's Cove. Our camp site there was TINY, but the views were incredible... As was the light house... at sunset... with high tide and a full moon. Spectacular!!! The last shot is on the wharf in Lunenburg NS.

And just some "cute dog photos from the trip. The one of the fire is significant, because if you look in the door of the trailer, you'll see Kodi. He is afraid of the fire, and won't come out when we have one. So he stays in the doorway and watches us, while the girls sit in our laps. The last is Kodi, TOTALLY exhausted from a hard day of riding her on the little sisters.

Beautiful! Would love to go there. Willow's first owners had property in Nova Scotia. The husband actually was from there and still owned property there. That is one of the reasons why they felt Willow would be better off with someone else. They were flying back and forth too frequently. What a beautiful place to camp (if you can call being in an RV camping - Ha Ha).

We have a Class C and enjoy the comforts. We used to backpack into our campsites but I appreciate the amenities an RV provides now!

I grew up tent camping, and vowed that in my adult life I would never again sleep on the ground unless I had to. We've been RV camping since our kids were little. It has allowed us to do a lot of traveling with them, and it works so well with the dogs. But I love my full kitchen and my full size queen bed with a residential memory foam mattress. (added after we bought this trailer ) SOMETIMES we dry camp. But usually we prefer sites with at least water and electric, if not a full hook up. We rarely stay in one place for more than 3 days or so, so we don't really NEED a septic hook-up on-site. It just means we don't have to wait for anyone at the dump station, and can plan dumping around possible rain.

Great photos! Loved Peggy's Cove. Visited there when I was 11 when my family and I lived in Halifax for 6 months. Your puppies coats are gorgeous!

Those pictures are so lovely and inviting! "Some day" I hope to see the North East of our country, it is so much different than the West.

It is fun to see you and Dave out with the dogs. And (some of you) enjoying a fire during the evening.

Oh, I thought I would see a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever (or Toller for short) mixed in with a bunch of havanese!
Great pics even though there is no toller

Google pic of a toller:

Of course, that's not "our" north east... We're "southerners" to them.
