Okay, I'll play. In the late fall of 2006 I almost got a female sable from an online "breeder." I fell in love with her. She was an absolute doll. It was only when I started asking a few questions (after doing a little research at HCA). The breeder went nuts on me and started screaming at me. I wound up running in the other direction, feeling as if I was abandoning the baby I already thought of as mine.
It took many months after that for me to find the forum (in April of 2007). I was so warmly welcomed and everyone wanted to help. I was given great references for some wonderful breeders and started to look around. With the help of Linda Fung, I found my sweet Milo on Linda Wanamaker's site (Prairiwind). The minute I saw his face, I knew he was mine. At Linda's urging I got in touch with Linda that night, which was a lucky thing. The next day there were so many calls. Everyone wanted him. He was older than I had considered (5 1/2 months) but he was perfect for me.
I wound up succumbing to MHS, like everyone else and the next year added my sweet Bailey to the family and the following year, Ms. Tuesday, my little rip. And my life was never the same.
