Evo Dog food

I just recently change my dog food to Evo as majorities people on this forum pick to feed their dogs, but I have read on others dog web-links they do not recommend Evo. I send them an email asking why? but it been a while, I did not get any answer back. Does anyone know why Evo not recommend food for your dog? I am a bit concern, just want to find the quality and healthy food for my Max.

Thanks

Don't believe them , Evo is one of the best. http://innovapet.com/news.asp?id=42 and also http://www.dogfoodanalysis.com/dog_f...wcat.php/cat/8 and three strikes they're out --see Innova on this list (same thing as evo except evo has no grain. http://www.buzzle.com/articles/dog-f...dog-foods.html

I know some people have been hesitant to continue using it now that it was purchased by Proctor and Gamble. I have heard other people allude to an issue with Evo, but never spell it out directly. Recently a breeder's website said she stopped feeding Evo and to email her if you wanted to know why.

I have also heard lots of good things so...

Yes, I read that on the Breeder's website and email her to get the answer why she stopped feeding her Havanese Evo, but no luck she did not reply!
That why I was concern and posted my question on the forum.
thanks everyone for reply.

My two thrive on poutry Evo. I used to get red meat and switch off, but they do so well on poultry, we just stick to that. We supplement by adding some green beans and carrots chopped into it (they LOVE those veggies!) I am very satisfied with Evo and so are my Havs.

I quit using it for two reasons. 1. It is now owned by mega Corp. P&G and 2. It has a high ash content. Check out Orijen, I have been impressed and my Hav's would pick out the Orijen and leave the evo when transitioning.

I think Evo is a great dog food. I had to stop feeding it, because my boys blew up on it. I'm not sure why, but they got fat and I was only feeding a 1/2 cup a day. I switched them to raw and they are much leaner now.
