Rubbermaid Reveal Mop

Just wondering if anyone has tried the new Rubermaid Reveal Mop, and what your thoughts are. I'm thinking it sounds like a great invention, and would make it easier to keep my tile floors clean! Especially with winter coming, and the dogs tracking in mud and snow....

Renee, Miley, & Copper too!

Renee, I have a friend that told me the mophead kept coming off from the handle. She may have just got a defective one. If you try one just remember to save your box in case you need to return it. It does seem like a great way to quickly clean up paw prints. I use the little Shark Steamer mop and love it, but it does have a cord. Mostly, I just say my eyes are bad and I can't see it.

This looks like the Bona system for wood floors. The Bona works great. The only problem I have is that lever for the spray--after doing a large area, my hand hurts. But it's certainly convenient.

I've read good things about the Reveal. I looked at it at Target a couple days ago. It's $24.99. I'm getting one as soon as I can remember to take my $5 coupon to the store with me.

It has a nice long handle, great for me since I'm tall. The pad is nice & wide which should speed up the process. The trigger handle is a 4-finger grip rather than the "trigger" finger pull I was expecting. This should be less tiring for the hand. It has a foam grip part way down the handle so you can get a comfortable grip with your other hand if you need to do some serious scrubbing. There are both wet mop pads & dry dusting pads conveniently available on the same display, as well as extra solution bottles. Pads were $5.99 each & bottles $3.99.

Here's one of the places I read about it. http://ths.gardenweb.com/forums/load...2027522.html?7

Home Depot had the Reveal on sale last week for $15, so I bought it. LOVE it! Well, I love it for my wood and laminate floors, but now for the linoleum in the basement. I'll stick with my regular mop for that. But I would recommend the Reveal.
