Baby teeth!

Capote has started to lose his baby teeth..which makes it uncomfortable on both of us during play! Once he was bleeding and it was all over one of his toys which scared me, this time he bled on the cat..which freaked me out cause I thought the cat was hurt..lol.

Now he has a lil snaggletooth that won't come out but it's really loose and you can tell it's bugging him. If he were my little brother I'd tie it to a doorknob and slam it closed...obviously, for humane reasons I can't do that..lol. Any other suggestions? Personally the idea of wiggling his tooth till it falls out is ...unappealing? ~shivers~

That happened to Gucci, she had one lil' baby tooth half hanging out on the bottom. I was afraid to pull it and hurt her, and her assosiate me with the pain.

It fell out later that day when she was chewing her daily bone (chicken jerky) though.

But she also bled all over her toy "wolf puppet"...I highly recommend that toy if you can find one. We got it at Great Wolf Lodge last year...she LOVES it, probably even more than the giggling veggies.

I guess these are things i will have to deal with also. At what age do they lose their teeth?

I hope the new puppy likes the giggling veggies. My other 2 dont. In fact, i have tons of toys & Tripp only plays with a cheap plastic cheesburger. He goes nuts over that. Dreamer does not play at all with toys.

Just like the kids enjoying and playing with the box more than the toy

They eventually fall out on their own. Sometimes that is not a good thing. Shelby had one tooth I thought would have to be pulled. The day before I taking her to be spayed, the tooth fell out. However, the new tooth has grown in at an outward angle. It doesn't seem to bother her - she is always chewing on bones. I never found any of her teeth, but I did find one of Kodi's and I saved it.

I'm lucky I guess...Gucci plays with alot of her toys, especially if myself or one of the kids plays with her.

The wolf puppet is the BEST though. She thinks she playing with another dog! lol It even *barks* at her hehe.

I've noticed, she prefers soft toys and stuffed animals to anything plastic/rubber...those get ignored most days.

But then again...she's easily amused with a string on my sweat pants or plastic cup on the floor.

My husband is a bonsai artist, and sometimes he buys dwarf plants that come in little plastic pots. They love to play with them...I think they like the noise they make when they squish them. They can't get enough of empty water bottles either.
