Thanks Dave, I know Nancy feeds this to Tux and this is on my list for new pup.

Thanks Dave. I feel relieved that Primal follows such strict guidelines and readily responded to the "grind" size. Impressive. Tux prefers the lamb and beef so we are okay. I had been giving him cow tails until he grew into the ability to bite off chunks of cartilage and hide. That ended that.

Glad you saw this, your username wouldn’t tag properly for me. Did you start Tux on Primal right away when he was a pup?

The day after we brought him home at 10 weeks of age he went straight to Primal and raw goat milk. He started with thawed frozen nuggets, but after a bad reaction to HeartGard medication a few months ago, he associated the food with getting sick. We switched to the freeze dried and he loves it. He has always had healthy poops, usually once a day, small, firm and regular (like clockwork first thing in the AM). Primal gets high scores in nutrition, sanitary manufacture plants that are human grade, and no serious recall history. I figure any food manufacture will some day have an issue, but the important factor is how promptly and honestly they deal with it. It's a whole new comfort level.
