booties??

Okay, now I am SO not a girly-girl dog owner... Tillie doesn't own any clothes, nor has she ever had a bow in her hair (not that there is anything wrong with doing those things! LOL) ... BUT I am wondering about booties now that we are going for more frequent walks as she gets more grown up!
So, does anyone use any type of dog bootie or shoe for thier Havs? I never realized how DIRTY the street is until my buff/sable Hav went for a walk... and came home with BLACK paws and it is getting tiring cleaning them every time we get home!
Any recommendations would be appreciated!!

thanks!

I just order Small which fits paws from 1 1/2" to 2". I hope they are good for her since measuring her paw was not easy !!

Have fun with that!
My experience is that they are a pain in the you*know*what to get on and then my dogs would freak out and shake their legs and POOF booties off!!!

I got Yogi a pair of "Paw Tectors" in size XS (1 3/4 in.) which was the smallest size they had. (At either Petco or Pet Smart) They are a little big. I measured her front paw at 1 1/4 inches. I got them for her, cause when the weather is below zero, she lifts her feet up cause they hurt. I have had to run and pick her up, cause she'll just fall over trying to get her paws off the snow. Poor Baby!! So far I haven't tried them all on her. I put one on her last weekend, cause I cut her nails while my son tried to control her (She's a real fighter when it comes to getting her nails cut!). Anyway, I cut one too short and got it bleeding. I stopped it with corn starch, which she licked off and got it bleeding all over again. I put one of her boots on for a couple hours to make her leave it alone. It worked very well, and she quickly got used to walking around with one boot on, so I think she'll do fine with the whole set on. These were only like $10-$15. If she does well with them, I'll probably get her a better pair, to keep her feet warmer, and sized better.

Hi, I always make my Daisy wear Neo Paws (http://www.neopaws.com/) when i take her out for walks. I have to admit that they are not the fanciest shoes in the market but they are one of the best ones out there. Just like you I grew tired of wiping her feet every time after a walk, so I bough boots for her! (They call a lot of attentions when you walk them hahaha) I have tried several shoes from different brands and I have to say that neo-paws are the best. Some of the other ones are just not designed right and will fall off once Daisy starts to run
