I hope he's all better and gets lots of good rest after the shots!! I know they make them sleepy sometimes.

AND...I hope his leg is all healed up! Lil' guy needs to play and bounce around Has he been skittish about people picking him up at all?

Well wishes!

beamers vet

Ok.. soooooo.. upon Beamer examination by my vet, she said that the vet at the after hours hospital is nuts! She said there was no way his leg was dislocated and cracked at the joint! She looked at the xray and laughed.. she said it was just un-closed growth plates. She says he is 100% fine, and doubts that anything was ever wrong with him. She said if he had a dislocated leg and cracked bone he would have been lame and in much pain.. She also said they have had complaints about that after hours hospital..trying to order up all tests under the sun brought in. Well, I'll never take him to that vet again. And on the report itself whihc the vet filled out its says Beamer is 100% fine?!?!?! But he told us a completely different story in person. wow.. $400 for nothing it seems...
creepy vets piss me off!!!!!

Man what a load of crap. I can't believe that Beamer was Ok and the Vet lied to you guys. I would go back there and ream them out for the false review on Beamer's condition. Anyway I'm very happy that he's Ok and that he can run and play around for Sunday. We are really looking forward to it.

Horay for Beamer....

That's horrible. The worst of it being that he led you to believe your puppy was injured when he wasn't. I'd be furious!!
Too bad there's no way to get a refund of everything except the exam charges, especially since you saw the report that didn't list the injury.
If they've had multiple complaints, you have to wonder why that vet is still employed there.
I'm glad to hear Beamer is 100% okay though. That part is great news.

That is bittersweet. Its a shame he was wrongly diagnosed (and it cost so much!) But I'm glad he's not seriously hurt.

Like the others said, I would file a complaint if possible! Not sure how that works with vets.

I would love to go and complaine to these idiots.. but I doubt any good will come of it.. so...

I'm just happy Beamer is happy and healthy..
He weighed in at 3.95 pounds.. just shy of 4... Vet thinks he will go to 8-9 lbs fully grown.

So glad Beemer is OK and that's the importan thing. But, I would complain to those idiots and threaten them with going to the media because of all the complaints against them.
