Treat Ideas

The vet has put Bodie on Hills ID Digestive Care dog food due to his on and off stomach issues. She suggested that I can give Bodie treats such as carrot, sweet potato, green beans and little pieces of boiled chicken. I was wondering if there are other healthy treats you have found that your Hav loves. Bodie loves raw cauliflower but Iím not sure it that will make him gassy. 😯. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Iím determined to get his stomach problems figured out once and for all!

My Jerry likes plain scrambled eggs (no butter, salt or pepper). Also a little spoonful of plain greek yoghurt. I hope you get to the bottom of the stomach issues.

When my last dog was on prescription Hillís food I used to make treats by baking the canned food that I cut into pieces. Hills also sells dog treats that go along with their prescription foods that wonít upset your dogs system. Be careful with fresh veggies as I know even a fresh baby carrot will upset my dogís sensitive tummy. I would try things in small quantities and one at a time to determine what works for you.
