Golden years

for dogs getting older as is my Molly it's important to engage in mental stimulation. They're never too old to learn https://thebark.com/content/dog-computer-interactions

Thanks, Dave, this is a good reminder. Are you going to train Molly to do the Touch Screen games?

I only have a laptop. I am always playing some sort of game with her. I resurrect old ones and it's amazing how much she remembers.

Kodi is a couple of years younger than Tucker, and I think 4 years younger than Molly? But I can't imagine not doing some training with him, even as he gets older! A lot of my fellow dog sport people "retire" their dogs to Nosework, because there are no physical demands on the dogs, and most find it REALLY rewarding! Our training center also has a fitness class specifically geared toward older dogs. The people I know who have taken it say the dog love it.

...And I suspect that "games", no matter what they are, played with "their" human, as long as they are enjoyed by both, are even more meaningful to the dog than games played with a computer screen.
