Change in sleeping behavior

Hello everyone;

My Hav Jackson, who is crated when not in playgroup or being walked during the day, has been sleeping in my bed overnight for the past month or so. Although he generally moved from spot to spot around the bed throughout the night, he seemed content with the arrangement. But the last two nights he decided to leave the bed after an hour or so and sleep in his crate.

Since Jackson is still maturing at only 8.5 months old I'm generally not surprised when his likes and dislikes change but I was surprised about this one.

Interested in other members' experience and views about why his sleeping behavior.

A few thoughts I had:
1. He realized he doesn't like it when I snore.
2. He feels cooler closer to the ground.
3. He doesn't like it when I cough (I'm just getting over the flu).

Thanks...
JacksonDad

Jackson at 5 months.

yep could be any of those reasons or something else. Don't take it personally. Normal stuff. I've been sleeeping with a pet at my feet for the last 33 years.

My Kosmo started barking suddenly at 3 am, so I put them all back in their crates on the other side of the house and leave my door open so Zoey can wake me up with her morning yips. I have tried again and Kosmo would suddenly jump off the bed and patrol the perimeter. Also, Joy likes to chew the face off my Cpap machine if I leave it unguarded.

I like having them all aboard, but Kosmo seems happier with the crate line up in the mudroom.

My guess would be cooler closer to the ground, I have noticed my Jerry stays in my lap or bed only until he gets too warm then he moves somewhere cooler.
