winter ending photos

We had a storm last week, but now the snow is all melting. Shama prefers being on the snow to being on the melty part of the yard. Here are some photos.

Inside, she has taken to lying on our coffee table. She started that behavior just after learning that jumping onto a table is a "thing" in agility.

Recently, she started chewing on books (all Havanese-related, of course) that were on the coffee table, and she pushed our Crate Games DVD off of the table, so we've just removed everything so that Shama can lie there, on the coffee table, in peace.

(Yes, she is about as spoiled as a dog could get - although she hasn't taken over our bed! She still sleeps in her ex pen in the dining room . . .)

So beautiful! I am so envious of the long coat. I don't think Willow's coat would ever look so straight and beautiful. Plus I just don't have the patience. But oh Shama is gorgeous!

She is so darn cute she doesn't even look real. I wish our snow would melt, just came in from shoveling yet again. We are in a major storm system that I hope has moved on. I had to go out and clear an area for the dogs. Poor little Quincy is being such a good boy going outside in a mountain of snow. He actually loves the snow, makes tunnels and hops through it like a bunny. We should have named him Tigger, I think his feet are made of springs.

We were actually tossing treats out onto the snow to get her in the right spot for the photos. So those are "I'll do anything for a treat" footprints!

Henry does too. When the snow was melting, he didn't like the idea of going on mud/dirt at. all. We did get a snow top up yesterday so he's happy again.
