I'm thankful for that little bit of sanity I have left.

All kidding aside, I'm thankful for eyesight, to be able to witness the all the beauty on our planet, for ears to hear the sounds of love; of a baby cooing, a puppy barking, someone saying "I care.". And most of all I'm thankful for the loving people and pets who share my world.

I'm thankful for everyone in my life, especially my furbabies. Even when things get a little tough around here, they are always ready to give me their unconditional love.

I am thankful for another day above ground and a healthy dog and family, friends that are beyond special, loyal and kind.. I am grateful for my forum family, my kids who are all special in their own way..

the lights are on, the internet is paid for and I got a box of popchips in the mail today...

Oh, and I also found Gucci's favorite flashing light 'merry christmas' puppy at Walgreens today (we bought 7 of them 3 years ago for the kids stockings and she stole every single on of them) They are little puppies in santa hats and you squeeze them and they say Merry Christmas...ruff ruff ruff, 99 cents, best toy ever...next to bear.

So, today...that is what I happen to be grateful for

Kara

I am thankful for Geri who introduced me to the HF and all the wonderful people who contribute to a "family" feeling. I am thankful for Amanda who helped me rescue a little "Hav/Shih Tzu" from a shelter in SC, (he probably is not part Hav, but the shelter people thought so). I am thankful for Dale who showed me my first real live Havanese, dear dear Cicero. (Meeting Cicero makes it difficult to find a Hav, I compare them all to him since he is the only one I am really around and there are NOT many Ciceros to be found). Dale also spend hours with me looking at puppies and helping me with Sir Winston. I am thankful for all the friendships I have found here, there are many nights when I come on line just for a warm fuzzy feeling! I really appreciate all the work for rescue that goes on here and am worried about my "quilt square" but I know it will be appreciated. Many more things but this will have to do for now!! Happy Thanksgiving to all the two and four legged friends found here!

I am thankful for my wonderful families (both sides), and my great friends who are always there for me!
I am thankful for my husband who continues to let me add to my "pack" of Havanese - who are just the best babies ever!
I am thankful for all those who help out with Havanese Rescue, and give of their time, money, and especially LOVE to those Havs not as fortunate as ours!
