Dogs represent the best in us!

This article brought tears to my eyes. If I could only be as good as my dog.

As an aside, Momi's 80+ y.o. cousin lost her home and everything in the Paradise, Ca, Camp Fire. Cousin is fine and staying with children. Thankful it wasn't worse.

I will hold Ricky closer to me tonight.

The loss is Paradise and other fires across the west is sobering, so very sad. I'm glad your wife's cousin survived and hope she didn't lose any animals in the horror. The story about the anatolians is interesting, and I'm glad they are safe and together once again, where they are comfortable.

I am so glad Momiís Cousin is alright. We here in Alberta watched in horror at the devastation and can certainly relate to what Californians are going through after our Ft. Mac fire so fresh in our minds. I hope everyone touched by this tragedy has a warm and welcoming place to spend the holidays, it will be a tough one this year for so many.

Popi, thank you for posting this link. I have to admit that I teared up reading it. It just breaks my heart to think about all the pets, human lives and wildlife that were lost in those horrible fires.

I am so glad Momi's cousin is ok. The stories survivors are sharing about their experiences are just terrifying.

That is such a loss. My heart goes out to those who lost so much in the Paradise fires and all the others. It must be especially difficult for those who are 80+. May blessings abound for Momi's cousin and all who were affected.
