my poor dog has clostridium

poor django, i feel so bad for the little guy. he's been on a pooping frenzie the past few days and very gassy and woke me up 3x last night in the middle of the night to go out. i thought it was due to the transition from canned to kibble. he had diarrhea each time and this morning, i was able to actually take a good look at it. althought i pick up each time, it's a bit hard to see things in the middle of the night.
when he went this morning agian, his poop was covered in mucus and when i went to wipe his little bottom, it was bloody.
took a sample to the vet and he has clostridium. bad bacteria in the belly. on antibiotics along with his other meds. his eating habits started to change when we had to take him to the office due to roofers working on our roof. i think his stress level went up as well even though he was with me at the office.
he's sleeping soundly on his fav. blanket. didn't eat anything today. oh, i just want him to get over all his issue and just feel better. i feel so bad for the little guy.

Yes! I saw it on Amazon! When I saw the name of the puppy, and that it was a Hav, I thought, "There COULDN'T be TOW "Djangos!!!""

How cool is that? I never realized your little guy was a celebrity!

I'm so sorry

Talk to your vet about probiotics, I think they are probably the best thing we can give our havs. My friend just put her 4 havs on it and she is singing the praises and even claimed they quit wanting to eat their poo .

I use 1/2 a capsule of this stuff sprinkled on her food:

Ask your vet about it

Hope he's better soon
