Interesting. Willow is using a ceramic bowl so I'll be extra careful to be sure it never gets scratched or chipped. I don't think I can find out where they were made though.

We use stainless and rotate through the dishwasher. With three dogs, that's 6 dishes a day. LOL!

I wonder why they don’t mention glass. I use only glass bowls for food and water for Zumba and the cat. The bowls get cleaned before any new food gets put into it. The water bowls are cleaned at least once daily.

I can't imagine a problem with good quality glassware. It is used in scientific experiments, so we know it doesn't leach chemicals under most circumstances. It's just also pretty breakable if you have a rambunctious puppy... or one like Panda who has to flip everyone's dishes over after each meal to make sure no one has left a morsel behind. Because we starve her, you know.

Hahaha!

I have bases for the glass bowls; otherwise, I am sure Zumba would do the same.

These poor dogs having us horrible humans who won’t feed them as much as they’d like. Zumba has gotten to barking at the bowl after she has licked it clean. Kind of like, “Look, mom. The food all disappeared. I need more!”

Waaaay! too much information these days. I don't know how my last dog, a 17-year old poodle, ever survived to old age. Twenty years ago you went to the grocery story and purchased whatever canned dog food was on the shelf, opened it and fed them once a day. We had a water bowel and I don't remember ever cleaning it, but I'm sure I did once in a while. If a dog peed in the house, you rubbed their noses in it and threw them out the door, which worked in house breaking them. Today, you might end up being turned into the police for animal abuse. Just sayin' ....
